We had a great time here... It is right next to Yakkity Yak Playground so we made an afternoon of it. There are pavilions with picnic tables and grills all over the Park. An awesome clean creek (that we played around in), hiking trails, and nature walks. There are basketball courts, a sand volley ball court and in door bathroom facilities that were surprisingly clean.

This is a beautiful and well kept park. It offers train rides, on the weekend, for a minimal fee, a playground for young kids, and a nice walking trail.

We love this park because it's right next door. But honestly, it needs some work. The wooden play set is starting to fray and splinter and the mulch hasn't been updated in years. So long in fact, the very underneath layer of black sheet weed preventer is visible in many spots. There also aren't many options for parents seating (especially with shade) I could be knick picking, but my husband was a part of the class that originally named the park when it was first updated. And oh how we remember how marvelous it was then. I will gladly change my review once the park has been updated.

One of the area's only all wooden playgrounds. Swings, swinging balance beam, teepee, tire swing, walking paths, a small Creek to catch crawfish and the like.

We go to this park every year for a family reunion. Very well kept and maintained. Plenty of room to spread out and a great playground for the kids.
