Huge selection of branded gear & apparel, clean & well-taken-care-of shop, friendly staff; though a little off the beaten path, well worth the visit. Very professional atmosphere and overall clean & friendly vibe. Good experience overall during my visit.
Visited Cole Harley on vacation along with their sister dealer Black Bear Harley. Black Bear Harley was an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and actually seemed interested in acknowledging that the customers were present. Cole Harley on the other hand was not. Probably the worst experience with a Harley shop I've ever had and I've been to plenty in which I've spent a lot of money. The guy behind the parts desk acted as if I were a theif trying to steal parts out of the box. I was trying to find passenger floorboards for my 85 electra glide because the right side cover fell of on the 4 hour trip we had just made. The box indicated it was for an 86 up, however the bike is 32 years old and could have been updated at some point. So I opened the box to see if the mounting bracket was the same. That's when the guy said "Is there something you need to see in the box." I was shocked with his comment so I said excuse me. He again said "why do you need to open the box, what do you need to see in.there." That's when I said I have an 85 and the box says 86 and up. Before I could finish my sentence he said very snappy "Nope they're different." Some friends that were riding with us saw the ordeal and put back the two armfulls of clothes they intended on buying. If you are planning on going to Harley shops in the area and would like to be treated as a customer and not a criminal, I would advise making the 30 minute drive to Black Bear. Well worth the drive.
Visited this store with my husband and friends, the staff did not even speak when we entered the building. When waiting to check out at the counter the employees finished their conversation on the other side of the store before coming to help us. Then acted as if we were bothering them. Service parts department was even ruder. Make the drive to Black Bear Harley very friendly and more selection!
Love the merchandise selection. The buyers have always chosen items more favorable for purchase. Service department is excellent. Had issues with the Ultra while on a weekend trip. They got us in, did the diagnostics, fixed the problem and also found another non-related issue and fixed that. Great to deal with
loved the items I purchased, quality products. Courteous staff, great bunch of people to ride with, and the weekend events are always enjoyable!!!
